5. Are you accepting new clients?
Yes, I am accepting new clients—but currently only for morning and early afternoon appointments.
6. How often will I come to therapy?
That depends on your needs and goals. Some clients come weekly, others biweekly, and some monthly or on an as-needed basis. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that feels right for you.
7. Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes! I offer telehealth therapy for clients located in Tennessee.
8. What is your social media policy?

You’re welcome to text or email for scheduling for logistical reasons only. For your privacy and safety, I do not offer therapeutic support over text or email.

I accept insurance (BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna), cash, credit/debit cards, and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards. All payments are processed through my secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
12. Do you offer a free consultation?
I do not offer a free consultation at this time. Instead, we begin with a full intake session, which allows me to get to know you, understand your needs, and create a treatment plan. If after that session it doesn’t feel like the right fit, I’ll support you in finding someone who better matches your needs—no hard feelings.
13. How does insurance reimbursement work if I'm not using one of the accepted plans?
If you're using private pay and have out-of-network benefits with a different insurance provider, I can provide you with a superbill to submit for potential reimbursement. I’m happy to walk you through the process if you have questions.
14. What should I expect during my first session?
The first session is all about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your background, current struggles, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance—just come as you are.
15. Do you work with children or teens?
Yes, I and often support children and teens, particularly those who are neurodivergent or navigating challenges like anxiety, emotional regulation, or family transitions.
16. I’m neurodivergent (or suspect I might be)—can you help with that?
Absolutely. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those who are autistic, ADHDers, or otherwise outside the “neurotypical” mold. Whether you’ve been formally diagnosed or are exploring your identity, this is a safe space to better understand yourself and build tools that actually work for your unique brain.
17. Do you provide therapy for parents of neurodivergent children?
Yes, I work with many parents who are raising neurodivergent children. Together we can navigate parenting strategies, emotional regulation, and the personal challenges that come with caregiving, all while helping you stay connected to your own identity.
18. Is therapy confidential?
Yes, everything we talk about in therapy is confidential—with a few exceptions for your safety (such as if you’re in danger of harming yourself or someone else, or if there is suspected abuse). I’ll go over all of this in detail during our first session.
19. What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.
